What happens if I miss the deadline?

VMI can impose fines for non-compliance with i.EKA requirements. Fines can reach up to EUR 4,300. From 2025-01-01, all cash registers must comply with i.EKA requirements. With Paysera POS, you can start working in 15 minutes and immediately meet all requirements.

How much does i.EKA certification cost?

With Paysera POS - EUR 0 extra. i.EKA functionality is included in all plans at no additional cost. You only pay the standard monthly fee from EUR 20/month.

Can I use my old cash register?

Only if your cash register has been updated to i.EKA standard and has an official VMI certificate. Most old devices cannot be updated and need to be replaced. Paysera POS is a simple solution as no special equipment is needed.

How do I know if my solution is certified?

VMI publishes an official list of certified i.EKA solutions on their website. Paysera POS is officially included in this list and meets all VMI requirements.

Can I work offline?

The card reader has an integrated SIM card with mobile connectivity, so it works even without Wi-Fi. However, fiscal reporting requires at least minimal connectivity.

Does VMI see my sales in real-time?

Yes, this is one of the main i.EKA features - real-time data transmission to the VMI system. Every receipt is automatically transmitted to VMI servers immediately after issuance.
