What is Paysera POS?
Paysera POS is a virtual cash register system (POS - Point of Sale) that allows you to accept payments, manage sales and comply with i.EKA requirements. The system works on any device through a browser or mobile app.
Is Paysera POS suitable for my business?
Paysera POS is suitable for most retail and service businesses: shops, cafes, restaurants, beauty salons, auto services, markets, etc. The system is adapted for businesses of all sizes - from individual activity to large chains.
How is it different from a traditional cash register?
Traditional cash registers need to be purchased (EUR 500-2000), have limited functionality and require physical servicing. Paysera POS works on a subscription (from EUR 20/month), is automatically updated and has more features: reports, inventory management, multi-location support.
I have a bank terminal. Do I need to change it?
Not necessarily. However, Virtualikasa offers an integrated solution – cash register and card reader from one place. This means: automatic VMI/i.EKA reporting, one support number for all questions and one invoice for everything. If your current terminal does not submit data to VMI – it's worth considering a change.
Is it difficult to train employees to use it?
No – the system is designed for maximum simplicity. For daily work, you only need 2 buttons: "Cash" or "Card". The cash day opens automatically when the first customer arrives, and closing – just 2 clicks. Most employees learn in 5-10 minutes.
Does Paysera POS comply with i.EKA requirements?
Yes, Paysera POS is a VMI certified i.EKA solution. All receipts are automatically sent to VMI in real-time. You don't need to perform any additional actions - the system does everything automatically.
What is i.EKA?
i.EKA (Smart Electronic Cash Registers) - a VMI requirement from 2025-01-01 that cash registers automatically send sales data to the VMI system in real-time. This ensures more transparent tax accounting and reduces administrative burden.
What happens if I don't update my register by the deadline?
VMI can impose fines for non-compliance with i.EKA requirements. Fines can reach up to EUR 4,300. We recommend switching to a certified solution as soon as possible - with Paysera POS you can start in 15 minutes.
How much does Paysera POS cost?
Plans start from EUR 20/month (Basic plan for one checkout station). Smart plan - EUR 35/month with full functionality. All plans include i.EKA functionality and support.
Are there transaction fees?
Paysera POS doesn't charge transaction fees. You only pay the monthly fee according to your selected plan. Standard Paysera card reader fees apply to card transactions if you use a Paysera card reader.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes, the subscription can be cancelled anytime without penalties or long-term commitments. The system will work until the end of the month after cancellation. Your data is retained for 30 days after cancellation.
Is it suitable for seasonal business (fairs, events)?
Yes, it's ideal! The contract is open-ended with no minimum period. You can use it only during the season, return the equipment when not needed and order again when the season starts. There are no penalties or additional fees for early termination.
Do I need to buy expensive cash register equipment?
No! Virtualikasa works on any device with a browser – phone, tablet or computer. You can rent the card reader for 12 EUR/month (instead of 750+ EUR purchase). Technology changes – renting protects you from outdated equipment.
What devices are supported?
Paysera POS works on: iPhone, iPad, Android phones and tablets, Windows/Mac computers via browser. No special equipment needed - just an internet connection and a modern browser.
How to print receipts?
You can use any Bluetooth/WiFi receipt printer or send electronic receipts to customers via email or SMS. You can purchase a printer separately or use an existing one - the system is compatible with most popular models.

Is there training available?
Yes, we offer free initial training for all new clients and have comprehensive video tutorials.
Where to find documentation?
All documentation, video tutorials and frequently asked questions are available in the Paysera app and online. We also provide API documentation for developers.
Is my data secure?
Yes, we use bank-level encryption (SSL/TLS). Data is stored on EU servers in accordance with GDPR requirements. Paysera is regulated by the Bank of Lithuania and meets all financial services security standards.
Can I export my data?
Yes, you can export all sales data, product lists and reports in CSV/Excel format at any time. The data belongs to you and is always accessible.
Who has access to my data?
Only you and your authorized employees with appropriate permissions. Paysera staff can only view data for support purposes with your explicit consent and for a limited time.
