How does it work?
The drawer connects to the computer through an adapter. Paysera POS itself sends the command to the drawer once the sale is complete.

The sale is completed in Paysera POS as usual, and the customer receives a receipt.

Any 24 V drawer with an RJ11 / RJ12 connector will work.

Frequently asked questions
What computer do I need?
A Windows computer with the Chrome or Edge browser. One drawer connects to one computer, and the adapter should always be plugged into the same USB port. On Safari, tablets and phones the drawer will not open automatically – you will open it by hand.
How do I get started once I have the equipment?
- Plug the drawer cable into the adapter, and the adapter into a USB port on the computer.
- Contact us – we will turn on the drawer feature for your till.
- In the till, allow the browser to access the adapter once. From then on the drawer opens by itself.
Will the drawer open if part of the amount is paid by card?
Yes. The drawer opens whenever at least part of the amount is paid in cash – that's exactly when the cashier needs to take payment and hand out change.
Does the drawer open when issuing a refund?
Yes, when the refund is made in cash.
Can I open the drawer without a sale?
Yes, with the "Open drawer" button. Only employees you have granted permission will see it, and every such opening is recorded in the history.
Will I see when the drawer was opened?
Yes. You will see when and which employee opened the drawer. Closing the drawer is not recorded yet. The drawer can also be opened by hand with the lever on the bottom – such an opening does not appear in the history.
Is a cash drawer required under VMI rules?
No. Cash can be kept in any container – a drawer, a box or a wallet. The drawer is a convenience and organization tool, and sales are still recorded in the i.EKA system as usual.
Do I need to install any extra software?
No. Paysera POS communicates with the drawer directly from the browser. Windows 11 installs the adapter driver by itself.
Can I connect two drawers to one computer?
No. One computer supports one drawer. If you have two checkout points, each needs its own computer.
